Dr. Kevin M. Ramotar
Dr. Ramotar is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience in patient care and currently serves as the Director of Clinical Excellence at Grow Therapy.
In this role, he leads the development and oversight of clinical care systems, ensuring the highest standards in clinical quality, patient safety, and care coordination.
Dr. Ramotar’s career spans a variety of settings, with long tenures in academic health systems such as UC San Diego Health, where he held leadership positions in clinical quality, compliance, and patient safety for 10 years.
He has also been a trusted clinical leader and advisor to several digital health companies, including serving as the Head of Clinical Care and Quality at Rula (formerly Path) and Head of Trust & Safety at BetterUp.
He holds a doctorate, and two master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology, with concentrations in healthcare leadership, multicultural and community psychology, and clinical quality.
His early background in software development, coupled with advanced practice of Lean Six Sigma, shapes his passion for using technology and data-driven strategies to drive continuous process improvement through ethical innovation.
His mission is to build “perfect” care systems that fully equip providers to deliver exceptional patient experience and outcomes.
Beyond his leadership roles, Dr. Ramotar remains an active clinician, specializing in neurodiversity, psychological assessment, and the developmental challenges of emerging adulthood.
